    Hi guys

My instagram account is @jmatthewsfitness (https://www.instagram.com/jmatthewsfitness/).

I'm looking for tips on running my account - the goal is to gain personal training clients (from any location - the services I offer are all online).

Currently I use followliker (following 875-950 people per day from other popular fitness accounts (such as https://www.instagram.com/christianguzmanfitness/?hl=en and https://www.instagram.com/mattogus/?hl=en). I also like 1000-1200 pictures per day from relevant hashtags.

I also use this link (http://www.huffingtonpost.com.au/entry/get-instagram-likes_n_6751614) to determine which time I should post each day (I post approximately once per day).

I'm a bit concerned that my engagement isn't particularly high - I really only gather a good ratio of likes on my pictures after 48 hours or so - a lot of which I'm guessing is reciprocal likes from other profiles whose pictures I've liked through followliker.

The next thing that I definitely need to do is create a website so I can have a proper landing page that's visible.

Does anyone have any tips for better running my account? Thanks a lot for any help!

Maybe instead of plain photos use some photos that have text like motivational. Currently your images are very plain and are not catchy in my opinion.
And yes engagement is very low.

Thanks - I'll take a look at some motivation pages and get some motivational pictures to post.

Also, I will generally post and then add the most popular hashtags as a comment so it comes up. Is that the best way to get the most pictorial exposure?

    Hey bud.
Well who is it that you want to engage?
You are a personal trainer but you have zero training tips.
Same images over and over again, have more variation.
If someone allready liked your image once then they would probably not like it again, and unfollow you for posting the same things multiple times.

    Thanks again.

    Wow, real high settings.

I don't find liking photos with relevant hashtags effective.

Better off liking photos of followers that like/comment posts of big accounts in your niche.

    Engagement should improve.

If you want to engage more, use your personalstories to create a bonda and motivate them, ask them questions, post training vids, show them your diet, etc.

What did mr half natty and christian guzman do to get so successful? Try to use that and give your own taste to it.

You can pm me if you want, I got a 72K and 12k fitness page. Maybe we can mean something to each other?

Ok man first of all, your account looks like you are a model and not a personal trainer.
That link to best time to post sucks, that is not accurate... its very different per country per niche.

I can help you with some things but i charge for that.

I will give you some tips for free, and if you tell me where are you from i will tell you the best time to post for your account followers by day and hour.

Tips for you and that niche,
-Stop following those accounts followers, is not your niche at all.
-Personal trainers niche main target are fat women's
-Go follow girls who want to lose weight, who are following diets accounts.
-Put your Whatsapp contact in your BIO, faster way to get clients.
    -Offer a free personal evaluation.
-Use emojis on BIO to catch attention.
-Stop posting pictures of yourself and post TIPS. (Educate your followers)
    - Post videos you training someone else, pick someone and train him or her for free and record yourself so you can create content.

    Enough =).

To engage your ideal client you need to give them some value for free, some ways to do this would be to post motivational quotes with your pictures, pictures of you training other clients, some of your clients success, live videos of the workouts / meal plans you may provide. As well as some tips for healthy living, losing weight, and anything else someone would want to know about fitness. If these people find this information useful, this builds a connection and trust between you and the client, therefore making the conversion rate of people who see your posts, and people who will actually pay for your services much much higher. People buy things from others that they trust and like, get people to have those feelings about you and you can sell them pretty much anything. Hope this helps. Feel free to hit the thumbs up.

Hi. If you are interested in following and unfollowing users then you can try MassPlanner. It's easy to use and does all the work for you but if you're too aggressive in your tactics you might get banned. I suggest a slow and steady but organic growth. Manually follow only people that likes the pics on those larger accounts and I would also go after smaller but more concentrated account like Greg Ogallagerh from KinoBody (just search his name).

    Good luck

Not much more to add after Rodol listed up everything.

A tactic I use at this time is letting more time between uploads, this way you will earn more likes since a majority likes the recently added pictures, this way it looks like you have more engagement.

First of all - THANKS! That is a massive help.

I am from Australia - but as my services offered are all online I didn't think it mattered which countries I focus on?

    Also, sent you a pm:).

    Agree with rodol.

Post short videos of workout techniques that are EFFECTIVE.

Follow and like and comment on those profiles that interact with other big fitness trainers.

Post more motivation, and less 'model' pics.

You should have thousands of likes on your pics, especially if you are getting reciprocal likes
