For a writer, you don't need "experience" in dentistry (LOL) to be able to come up with compelling and comprehensive articles for your readers.

Just give him/her informative sources as basis for his/her writing, the target readers/visitors (students, clients or fellow industry practitioner?) and some of your own writings to get "inside your head".

    just my 2cents.

I have no interest in this but wanted to let you know that dentistry experience may not be a must.

We completed 2 sites for dentist a few months ago and were responsible for all content. The articles were great and even after the team of dentists reviewed them, only a few words were changed and it was not because they made no sense, only because it was something very specific to the clinic. And articles were not about the regular "our services" , "about us" ...many were about specific dental procedures and technical.

BUT, IMO, what is important is not the dental experience ( but it would be a plus of course ) but mostly a competent/educated/intelligent writer ( but that is not always easy to find).

Of course, if your requirements are not for a dental to consumer site, and you need more technical, then i understand.

    my 2 cents
