    Hello BHW,

I am in need of an SEO Expert to help the company that I work for get rid of negative reviews on the web. Unfortunately, I cannot publicly show the name of the company, therefore contact me and I am going to try and give you as much information as I can if you need any.

Some of our competitors created around 15-20 questions in 4-5 different Q&A websites about "bad experience" with our company. We want to get rid of those messages or rank them really low so they cannot be found.

Is anyone here who has experience on something like that. Please tell me what you can do, and how much would your services cost.

    Thank you,

While your looking for an expert here's a few pointers.
    1. An online reputation management expert will embolden you to build up positive reviews on various review sites to help those parasite pages outrank those pages that have the nefarious info on it, unless the pages that have the reviews on them are review sites, then take a look at tip 3.
    2. Check the reviews, do they violate the site where they were posted's terms of service for content creation, meaning, is there swear words etc. that you can perhaps get the review taken down on a technicality.
    3. If negative reviews are on review sites than you need to focus on two avenues of action, outranking review sites with new content creations and outranking other website pages that show up for the business/owners/managers name.
    4. Here is a list of content pieces you can use to outrank other sites for the terms that are showing up:
    • Press releases
    • Scholarship funds ($500)
    • Local sponsorships (check out meetup groups)
    • Social media profiles i.e. twitter, facebook, and other 2.0 sites. Secure your brand across these sites and add some useful content
    • Guest posts on other websites
    • Authority links showing up on huge publications
    • Videos to show up and push more results down (not ranking just spacing and attention wise)
    • Pictures same as above
    5. Some extreme measures is to optimize other pieces backlink profile of content showing up for the brands name and terms already

A great technical guide to supercharge one's efforts to push up 2.0/parasite/guest posts is from Lightningblitz' thread using shorteners to mediate link blasts. Kinda technical I know. That's probably as black hat as I would recommend, otherwise look to create great content, great reviews to outrank and outnumber the negative reviews.
