Hi,

I own a forex news website with extremely high traffic. It's a long story about how I acquired it but I'm an expert at content and good at SEO but I know very little about monetizing the site via affiliates and other CPA deals.

I'm looking for advice and/or someone to help me. A friend told me about this forum and said there are some very savvy people here. I understand that the biggest problem internet marketers have is getting traffic. I have traffic, in spades and I need people who have experience in this space.

PM me if you want to know more.

You can sign up on the site affiliate broker. There maybe you'll get lucky

High traffic should be targeted. If you want to lead high.

High traffic bot / spam traffic will not help you a lot of money

Sign up as an affiliate, put banners and links on your site. What else do you need to know? eToro converts best for noob traders, no so good for pro traders.

Thanks for the quick replies. I just don't know the ins and outs of getting the banners and making the deals and everything else.

To give you a sense, we have 3.7m pageviews/month so I need to go about this with a proper strategy because from some of what I understand here, that kind of traffic should be generating $100k/month.

It is simple, if you want to promote eToro, then search for eToro affiliate program. Sign up, they review your site and accept you. All the banners can be found in the affiliate program panel once you have signed up. There really is not that much to it.

But is that the best way to go about it? One broker and hit everyone on my site with it? Seems like there should be a bit more of a strategy.

No, I would use several brokers. I would only use eToro for targeting noob traders. HotForex and Trading-Point.com used to convert well for me. And Trade Rush (rushbucks.com affiliate program) for binary options. However I do not really bother with forex any more.

I think selling banner and link space on your site makes sense. However, that's not the only thing I would focus on. It's definitely the low hanging fruit, considering the kind of traffic you're getting.

But my primary focus would be on converting users into email list subscribers. I'd then develop a product/course to promote to them, or at the very least, promote other quality products/courses to them as an affiliate. In my opinion, this is where the bigger potential is for you...and you'll be building an asset (your email list) that can survive even if the traffic doesn't. You can PM me if you'd like to discuss further.

Find a web-site that proposes Forex courses or some stuff of the kind and suggest them to place banners on your web-site. This is only one of the ways to do it.
If you want, PM me, I'll give you a few pieces of advice.

I would respond to some of the PMs I'm getting but I can't because I don't have 15 posts. Is there anyway around that requirement?

Try clickbank and look for affiliates there. Set up banners etc and setup your affilate codes.
