I am bored, and I want to give back to BHW.

I have all night open, and I am willing to write a simple desktop application this evening, so if you have an idea for a simple tool/bot, I would be more than happy to code that for you tonight.

I have a huge code base to work with, and frameworks for pretty much any task, if you can think of something that will be useful to you, let me know in this thread or in PM.

Don't hesitate, the sooner I get started, the better the application will be. It is 12:45am now, and I will work on whatever you want for the next 6 hours!

As for the reddit bot, what would you want the bot to do?

I did two threads cause I wasnt sure how much exposure one would get and I am anxious to get started on a project =)

a reddit bot which submits ur story to a category..uses multiple accounts to vote u up n other stories in ur category down :P

Logging in and voting isn't a big deal, however posting requires a captcha breaker, it looks like 2/5 captchas are crackable.

I would prefer not to deal with captchas this evening, if nothing else comes up, I will give it a go ahead.

Any other ideas???

Here's an idea: I want to ease the process of registering on forums. I want to have a tool where I put a list of forums, predefine same username/password for all of them, and click "register".

BTW, does something like that exist already?

What about the following idea for a tool.

If it could be setup for any email \ personal info submit site or specific ones e.g. AFF.

The idea would be it would grab random details from text files
Text Files: fname.txt lname.txt (first name last name etc)

It would then go to your referal link of the website and then using proxies enter in the information.

For the email address part all you would need is another text file where it would read the emails from. This then would let it be either fake e.g. abousd (at) hsf.com or proper emails which have been harvested.

Just an idea. Though could someone let me know if this would be possible and if it is already out there.

Thanks

Already exists, I personally use RoboForm for this.

Pretty sure it would be similar to Roboform but with a few tweaks like able to run through a proxy. Make up fake names\passwords\login names.

Example site I suppose would be amigos.com/p/register.cgi

Heres an idea, What about creating a tool that will when given a url find all information about the site, not just whois, but also PR, # of backlinks alexa ranking? Point would be to give the websites owner a complete picture of where their site is now and suggestions on where it needs to be for SEO purposes?

How about a tool where you enter a url and a handful of keywords and it goes off and automatically finds blogs and other websites to post your link on and you can just leave it running, and it does all the work for you?
(With or without proxies options built in)
