Hi, I'm currently trying some email and blog marketing in the sportsbook business, and I'd like to promote poker as well.

No deposit bonus programs would be perfect, as they are actually paying the subscribers for the registration, but there's very few of them with an own affiliate program.

Yourpokercash seems to be pretty good, most others don't allow US players and/or pay their affiliates in a stupid point system...any idea?

    See you,

    T.

I have been promoting poker for 4 years now.
There are so many factors to consider when you promote online poker, so just to post here an affiliate program will not be professional.

    * Do you promote to US customers? If so - CPA and % Will be lower. and the conversion rates (in case the traffic is targeted) will be higher.
    * Do you want CPA or % ?
    * No deposit bonuses - I now advise you to forget about it. It will generate no conversions, and in order to get such promotions you must have an up and running, SEO powered website with proven ranks that you will have to show your vendors.

You will have to standout when promoting online poker. Spam is a very sensitive issue with Gaming affiliate programs, and most wont tolerate spam (And they do check, very carefully + They do get their spam reports from their players, so even if you do spam, your players will pretty innocently often let the programs know about it).
In addition, there are 2 very big affiliate forums dedicated to online gambling, and the very most of the members there are stupid, lame, affiliate talkers (Talk too much, do nothing), that always snitch about spammers. that's what they do, because they are a bunch of idiots that really have nothing to do in life.

What I can certainly advise is to sign-up DIRECTLY with affiliate programs, and not with affiliate hubs which shave consistently + are very unprofessional.

Promoting online gambling is the dirtiest affiliate war zone, and the affiliates always try find ways to beat their competition; yet, it is quite rewarding when you do well with SEO.

Seems like most online players are looking for rakeback so I suggest that you look into that, I know of a couple of affiliate programs.

You may also want to look into the newest poker affiliate, PM for info.

Bross your post deserved a thanks, very informative. I was thinking about promoting online poker in thailand. My outrageous idea was to setup an online gaming shop in a tourist area, but on the computers there are only online poker games installed. If they play then they need to play through my affiliate link.

i still need to check out how to bribe the police with this, any sort of online gambling is forbidden in thailand

    You're welcome.
Online gambling is in the dark area in most regions, and in the gray area in those that do approve it.

I can only see online poker working for you when you do SEO.
But well... People always find new ways to promote..

As for competition, I repeat, very intensive.
You need to visit one of the gaming conventions once in order to realize how packed this industry is (We're talking about thousands of affiliates in each convention, and they are the minority), and how many idiots are in business. (I have been to London and Barcelona affiliate conventions 2 years ago.

stay away from poker office, there a much better and cheaper tracking softwares on the net. beginner players wont buy it and other buy poker tracker of holdemmanager
+1 for direct sign up to the affiliate programs and not thrugh the affiliate hubs
and always check the terms of the programs..some looks very good but most of the players never reach the minimum requirements and you wont get any money

Why would you be paid less for US players? From my expirience in Casino, not poker, the US players are the most valued players.

Ive used poker office and holdem manager also and I liked the HM much better as a user, and maybe my opinion is too personal and not objective.

The "get it free" option is available at every tracker software and this is the only one what offering affiliate program. Its true. And maybe a lot of beginner never heard about other softwares.

The table rating is new for me but seems very good

I don't think Titan Poker allows US players.

I would look into Victory Poker. They just started a couple of months ago, and they are really taking off. The signed some of the top names in online poker and they pay their affiliates very well.

You can offer up to a 300% Deposit Bonus OR 40% in Rakeback directly from them.....and 40% is a lot.

I personally make a little over $500 a month with them, and they are still in the infancy stages.

Check out their Youtube channel where they are blowing up shit and partying like rockstars. http://www.youtube.com/VictoryPoker

I live in Las Vegas and play poker professionally, so I see these guys on a regular basis....and while they may look wild and crazy, the owner, Dan Fleyshman, really has his shit together.

    PM me for more info.

Checkout http://www.pokeraffiliateworld.com/ you can promote many poker rooms through the same interface and get paid in one lump sum. They have some big names such as Party and Mansion Poker also a good affiliate forum.

They pay for 50% of traffic.
The darkest affiliate program in the industry.

They are known to shave consistently. Don't ever promote Affuntd (Just search for Cpays in google, you will understand. they are the same company that rebranded).
