To keep the story short; we have marketplace website that's facing the issues of what comes first chicken-and-egg problem.
This was further caused by a streak of bad marketing contractors that have made my boss grow large doubt in the field resulting in ourselves running marketing with limited knowledge.
Before offering yourself for the gig, please know it would take convincing from your and my end this is the best plan of action.
Now for the gig, it could be either managing Ads and creating marketing plans we can execute, social ads, seo etc. or an advisory role as a starting point due to optimizing the budget to the fullest for finally breaking through the cold start and making ROI. This would of course be a benefitial mutual ramp up in the amount of work with more budget at disposal should there be success.
