Have been looking through the forums and am finding very few recent suggestions that are conclusive. Including in hosting BST.
Can anyone suggest a provider for shared hosting that:

    - ignores or only forwards & takes no action on link spam complaints
    - is not some fly-by-night / never-heard-before / no reviews exist online type host
    - has been around for at least 5+ years & has good service rep.

I think you will find it quite difficult to find a host that will fall into your first point. Any serious host will take spamming complaints seriously - in a shared hosting environment if you get an IP blacklisted, its not just you that feels the effects, its a lot of other people.

Now, saying that, the more serious hosts should forward you the complaint and give you a set time to deal with the complaint (I used to give between 12 and 48 hours depending on the severity when I was a host).

Good look with the search, but like I said, any host that doesn't care about someone getting their IP blacklisted isn't going to be around for the long haul.

Well you would hardly find hosting companies falling within your 3 criteria, as no hosting company would ignore spamming complaints, max they might give you time to resolve it. As its not your ip which gets blacklisted, if its a shared hosting there are other involved who face the consequences too. And any hosting company who doesnt bother about spamming complaints, would not be able to sustain in the industry for 5 years.
