Here is a screenshot below. It says everything.
That's what you get from EIG owned shit lol
well, going to send this thread link to few bloggers.
Pay peanuts get monkeys.
He's Gladson. He's glad you're gone.
You can find cheaper virtual servers than bluehost shared hosting.
It looks like they hired their support team from microworkers r fiverr
The customer service sounds like a robot
Lol. There was a time i didnt renew my hosting in time before my site went down. I contacted them and they said my site was gone. Good company, poor support...
I'm with Hostgator and they are having issues with the new Wordpress format as well.
I had a site go down that has been #1 in SERPS for well over 6 years now. It's still not back up
Thanks for the heads up. Not gonna use them for sure.
And you haven't moved it yet? LMAO
If the site is profitable then anyone who used EIG is FUCKING INSANE. They ALL SUCK. I mean ALL OF THEM.
Pay an extra $50 a year and get a real host. You'll sleep better and you'll make more money.
I recommend CrocWeb...HIGHLY recommend them. Not one hiccup from them and support has answered all questions in less than 10 minutes. I have a LOT of sites up with them. Not a single problem. Almost all are wordpress too. No issues at all.
Gladson is a savage
Maybe the CS is non english speaker, he/she want to say something but don't know how to say...
HAHAHAHA, the support team isn't getting good money I guess.
Not surprised because I always knew BlueHost was the worst by being told from a lot of people before.
The root cause for this is related to the WordPress 4.4 update - there is some technical information here that I have found if you're interested: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/34935
The solution is to ask your hosting company if it is possible for them to update OpenSSL and cURL to newer versions. However, as like Blue host in my chat above, it seems hosts are unwilling or unable to update their software.
It seems the only workaround is to replace the existing ca-bundle.crt located in wp-includes with a full list.
Damn that sucks man. I'm not with BlueHost but now i'm not sure if I want to upgrade my Wordpress installs.
Bluehost = EIG
EIG = crap
so Bluehost = crap
OP you are absolutely right !
