I decided to order a "social media marketing campaign" Fiverr gig for a Tumblr post I'm trying to get more exposure. Seller was claiming to have 9 million+ followers on FB & Twitter. So he delivers the order, and his "proof" is a goo.gl tracking link which shows traffic hitting my page supposedly from FB & Twitter. Clearly all he's doing is sending garbage/bot traffic (probably HitLeap) and spoofing the referrer. I told him to send me the link to the social media post(s) or refund my money - got a refund 2 minutes later. LOL. What blows my mind is he's got a 97% positive feedback rating and 1000+ reviews. Are buyers on Fiverr really this dumb? To not see through such an obvious scam?
