Well i was watching 2 keywords and decided one of them and other was not too good and i started working on that but now i just checked that i targeted wrong keyword, it wasn't what i decided :p but i already got of 14#. So what should i do? According to me i should leave that keyword and start with the original one but that keyword also get nearly 9k searches. But i don't want to waste my time in that. And can anyone suggest me some better methods to get good traffic? What i do is seo only. I am thinking about facebook and stuff but confused. What you guys use for traffic? My site is one month old and get more than 300 visitors per day and more than 70% from google but i want at least 3k per day, 30k will also be good :)

Well you should focus a little less broad I think, try to not rank for just a couple keywords but, build up lots of content and get indexed for all of the subject matter. That is not to say you should not pursue your primary keyword but, just don't limit yourself if you get what I mean.

For your issue at hand I think it's a simple mathematical based answer:

Which keyword can bring your more traffic?
--> So what if you get ranked for your #2 keyword if it's 1/100 of the potential traffic from keyword #1.

    Traffic Quality?
--> Is 100 laser targeted visitors more valuable to you then 1,000 un targeted? Numbers aren't always everything so look at it from that perspective as well.

    Effort level:
--> While keyword #2 might not be as much traffic, comparatively speaking is it more traffic for less work than keyword #1?

Do you have what it takes to get both of your keywords #1?
--> If yes maybe put in a little extra effort and make bank / get more traffic faster. Sure it'll be hard but, if you can do it why not?

I would use this questions to help make your decision.

I want to focus on only one or two keywords (good keywords). My site is pr 4 at present and i want at least pr 6 next time. Any good tips for that? What i currently do is just stick to ezine, hubpages, squidoo and now i will start forum posting and blog commenting.

Both keywords are related to my website and now i will target both of them! :) Firstly i will get on top 3 of the keyword in which i am at 14# and after that i will target the another one too! This should be easy as both keywords are related to each other, like one is - blackhat and other is blackhats. Just a difference of "s", i know it makes a huge difference but should be easier to target 2 similar keywords.
