I am starting an ecommerce site selling a product which is unique to one small geographical area, but will be sold mostly outside of this area/country. I have secured all extensions of the domain I wanted, but I'm unsure whether I should use the country TLD related to where the product is found/produced, or if I should use the .com because most of the sales will be coming from international customers.

So I want the site to rank well in every country, but the product is specific to one country only. For international ranking efforts I'm assuming the .com will perform better, but the local country domain extension would seem more authentic, although I'm thinking it may hurt my ability to rank in other countries where most of the sales will come from.

Any thoughts here? This is a serious project and I'm on the fence here as to which TLD I should use. All feedback is appreciated.

For Worldwide use .com extension. For local market use your local TLD. .com is most preferred by internet audience and also has nice authority for commercial use.

Thanks brother that's what I'm thinking too. It's just a big decision to make so I wanted to hear what some other people think.
