    Hey all,

I have recently changed the htaccess file for one of my websites, but now somehow my localhost redirects to that website while I don't even have that file on my computer anymore?

Does anyone know what's going on? I haven't been able to continue my work for 2 hours already.

Eh.. It's kind of hard to see what exactly is going on without knowing all the details. But maybe one possibility is that the redirect could be cached or something? Maybe just try clearing cache and cookies and see if there's any difference?

Thanks :) I assume the old htaccess was cached then

Yep :) Usually with caching stuff you can just go to the webpage and do a CTRL+F5, but redirect caching is a bit tricky because you can't do that. I worked for a big web hosting company for a long time, so I've gotten calls like this a lot :p
