    Hello,

I own a service business that serves 7+ million people.

I've been in business for about a year and half and doing okay.

I'm ranking page one for pretty much all my keywords but only ranking first for one keyword. My other keywords are between 3-7.

I have always hired out my work, but I'm at the point where I would like to do it myself. I have very little knowledge about SEO

However, with this in mind if I take it into my own hands, will I be taking a risk at all in regards to messing up?

How would I go about on working on my keywords to get them ranked up to first?

If business is going well and you have enough work to do, I won't learn it myself. I'd rather work on improving the business model and generating more clients/profits. You could always search for "trustworthy" SEO experts to do this for you.

Note: this only applies if business is going really good for you. If not you might be better doing it yourself.

I suggest you delegate the task to the hands of the experts so you can focus on more important things like growing you business. It's less headache and more revenue for you.

Completely agree, this has actually been my most busiest month. I do have a great interest in learning SEO, however maybe I should wait.

    Delegate.

Educating yourself is great, but taking on more work instead of less is counterproductive.
