So I google "(xxx) yyy-zzzz" and find my client's phone number listed, with this nice, fat piece of white space where I am allowed to enter the words like "These people call me every night at 9:08 pm, just as I'm inserting my evening suppository, and every night I have to jump off the toilet with a suppository halfway up my ass and go answer the phone, and it's always this pre-recorded voice saying "Hello. This is the NSA. If you would like us to stop recording your phone conversations, please press 1."

But I don't want to type that in. Instead, I want to type:

    etc...

The reason I ask this is because this scam phone number reporting site ranks #7 or so in the results when I do a search of my client's phone number. And so, I can't help but think that there isn't some juice here. And, with all this white space available, I wonder if I couldn't do my client some good by loading that white space down with some really yummy anchor text, extolling the virtues of my client's birdseed washing services.

It would be a little odd to see a positive review of a company on a scam site, you'd probably do more damage than harm.

    1. You might get more backlash than anything
    2. They probably don't permit links within the posts or at least not ******** (unless they are dumb)

Those are not scam sites, they are reverse phone directory sites, and I would imagine that the link value would be nil, NoF and unrelated.

Yeah, after I posted the question (the posting process helps me to think), I thought about it some more and decided there was nothing there. I'm going to paste a non-client link into one of those numbers though, to see what happens.
