I have a client with a ballet studio in Anytown, USA and she is looking to expand here internet marketing.

from a LOCAL SEO standpoint, is it better to:

use the company name in the URL: companyname
use the location and keyword "ballet", like: anytownballet
a combination of the 2: companyanytownballet

im sure this has been covered before but i couldnt find anythign through my forst couple searches.

thanks...

Since it's a ballet school therefore people won't be travelling particularly far to use it should they find it online I'd rule out the first option.

Getting the location and keyword in there is most important so option 2 is good. Option 3 could be better depending on if you can do so without making the domain name too long winded.

Ideally anyone in the local area that wants to find the ballet school website and types all 3 of the criteria in a search engine, should still find the site based on the criteria in option 2.
