Someone contacted me and told me they can get people on the 1st page of google maps in 2 weeks in any city and place etc..
Its too good to be true . What do u guys think could it get done?
anyone wants to share how?

I have heard this before. I have a feeling it is true because I have seen it happen before. There are some companies out there that have a real skill to working the local maps. I am still trying to get to that level as I have always focused on organic rankings, but more and more people want the maps now.

Its actually easier than organic seo... reviews are the key to getting it done, I'm sure you can figure it out from there.

I have tried the review path. but try 3 month not 2 weeks !!!!!

I have heard it is mostly reviews plus citations but so far no luck for me. Organic seo is super easy for me.

I have gotten them on page one i just a few days from reviews and citations.

I look at the competition on the page one in the serps. I look at where they got there reviews from, then I go get listings and reviews from the same pages(different ip's different email accounts), but add a few extra reviews(don't over do it).

Article marketing for your citations, make sure that the address is exactly the same each time you put it in a listing or citation.

I always succeed, but a disclaimer: I have only had done this in small-medium size markets.

how should i format the articles?

should they have the address right in the body of the text?

If you would expand on it I would appreciate it very much.

thanks

Also should i use unique article wizard or any other service you would recommend>?

I also do this as a service for businesses and I will tell you right now it is very possible. I can do it in a week in a small market, or a three box if the business is listed 2nd or 3rd.

Have you done any research on this? Just do some local searches and see why google is placing the number 1 in the number 1 spot. Copy and paste from there.

how much do you charge them?

A lot of it depends on the competition. If the competition is really weak then yes. If it's not then it will take a few months. Google is slow sometimes to pickup citations. Reviews pop up fast though.

I provide this service as well - like Nick & Fvck said, yes, absolutely it can be done.

Citations and reviews are vital.

Citations need to be identical (or as close to it as possible).

And keyword optimize your reviews.

I help google quickly find the citations I submit by bookmarking some and pinging others.

Same with reviews.

You could put the address anywhere but I always put the address in the resource box, and make a back link with the company name as the anchor text. Killing two birds with one stone. I use unique content... spin articles - wash repeat... Make sure the address is IDENTICAL each time you submit it somewhere.

Like Jericho says it all depends on the competition, for instance restaurants are the hardest for me to get rankings for because they always have tons of reviews from like 50 different sites.

And keyword optimize your reviews.
This is just my opionion, but I disagree with this. Reviews need to look natural just like a real customer of a business wrote it. A normal customer wouldn't know to add keywords to a review, this might raise a flag with SM's
i might hire one of you guys to do some listings for me
Yeah, once I figure out just what I need to rank a local business listing I outsource the review writing and article writing/spinning.

You can do this yourself if you have the want. Google is really telling you exactly what you have to do already. Check and see who the number 1 site is. You just have to do a little research. I believe that google ranks differently for different businesses/cities.

1. Are citiations doing a lot for the number 1 spot?
2. Are reviews doing a lot for the number 1 spot?
3. Is the address for the number 1 spot closer to the city center then the number 2 or 3 spots?

Everything you need to know is right in front of you. All you have to do is be willing to study it and realize what you need to do.

You should not offer this service to someone unless you know what you are doing.

I've done it before. There is a lot more to it than just writing a bunch of reviews though...Some sites can take 3-4 weeks, but 2 weeks is realistic depending on the competition you are looking at.
