I've not seen a lot of Micro Niche IM on the Journey section as I can see most of the people have jumped on the PPD bandwagon, so I decided I would write a journey blog to keep my self and other people motivated to take the PPD approach.

For the past week I have been wracking my brains and other members of this forum about niches, how to find easy to rank niches as I needed my first site to be relatively easy to keep me motivated. Here is the Market Samurai information on my main keyword.
    25A1V.png

    Today
Purchased an EMD (I know the hype about EMDs being bad, but this isn't going to be a 5 page, pump and dump site, it will have some authority).$4.17
Set up my hosting (Using a family owned VPS). $0.00
    Ordered a 800 word article from NatashaNixon(http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-sold-year-seen-ryan-deiss-perry-belcher.html) $10.00

    Total Spent: $14.17

Once my article has been delivered I will add a page to my website and do some onsite SEO. Until I have all my pages on my website and onsite SEO, I will leave the website for two weeks and see what rank I get just with content alone. I'm hoping to only get links from PR 1+ websites and do this completely whitehat.

Yeah I will, just waiting to see how good the article will be then I'm going to order another 6-8 articles, get an about page, a privacy policy page and let it sit for a while.

My 2c, an "old" man's guide into MNS:

    1) After selecting your niche, learn ALL about it, read and read and read till your eyes go red and you can't read no more, and then read some more about it (most important step), be a "guru" on the info of that niche.
    2) Never rely on Google alone for your traffic (invest time in Social Media pages also, it will pay out in the end, sometimes it will generate more traffic than Google organic)
    3) Make a global strategy from the get-go with clear steps and timeframes
    4) Write your own articles on the website (if you followed the first step it will be a breeze and you will be rewarded tenfold)
    5) Make tons of great and high quality articles, even when you run out of keywords, niches and searched terms appear every day (add your own signature to them, make them special, write in YOUR OWN way, write for humans not for crawlers, give REAL high quality information, put yourself in the user's place and ask yourself "What would I need if I searched that kw -> do this and it will result in a fanbase of recurring users who will follow you to the grave, and ofc, low bounce rate :D )
    6) Learn SEO
    7) Analyze your competitors (on-page, backlink profiles, their social media engagement) and make notes on it.
    8) Outsourcing backlinking makes your life much easier (buy your services based on the backlink profiling you did in step 7, If you don't have money for outsourcing do things MANUALLY for the first tier at least)
    9) Don't stop until you reach your benchmark, and when you reach it, gear down the engines but don't shut them down, or else your site will fall eventually.
    10) Don't cut any corner on quality! If you make an article, make it the best you've ever written. If you make a banner, make it the best looking banner ever. You get the point, quality is of the essence.

You don't see many people nowadays in MNS because it's hard work. MNS in 2012-2013 is not what MNS was in 2009. There is no MNS anymore, it's just marketing a small authority website. To do that you must have lots of knowledge about SEO, ad placement, product placement (if you're promoting amazon), psychology (to make users do what you want them to do), sales abilities, writing abilities and so on... Oh and I forgot to mention, it pays on the long run, this is not a 1 month plan, it's a 1 year plan. The sweet thing is, once you maxed out on a MNS, it will go in almost autopilot mode and the revenue will be great.

So prepare to work your ass off, use your brain in the process and be happy about it and you'll succeed.

I wish you all the best in your journey. May you work smart and be rewarded on it.

I'm not going to cut corners on this one, each website I build I want to be proud of, something that I can show some one. Eventually when I get enough sites ranking for these keywords and each site has a reasonable PR I will link them to my e-commerce website or place banner ads for it and bring in the big bucks. The onlything I will not be doing is outsourcing backlinks, I wont be buying any SEO services any time soon either as I just cant trust other people other than articles which I can proof read and make amends to before hand. I want to keep it whitehat as I want to turn my sites into something that will earn me money in the long run.

    Update
So my article came to be quicker than I thought so I will be ordering more tonight, greate quality and word length was just as I had asked, I added the article to my website and created two backlinks from websites within the same niche. The links where PR3 and PR2, my father owns both of the websites hence the easy access to material, information and backlinks within this niche.

I also added my website to webmaster tools and I will order 3x300 word articles on the 3 biggest manufacturers of products within my niche. I still have no idea what I will put on the index page of my website, so any feedback on that would be amazing.

I had to order 3x400 articles because that's the minimum NatashaNixon will do but I'm not to bothered I have money to spend on this website and It means I can pack more information on the page. The only thing that I would like to ask people is, should I have 3 separate pages for the manufacturer or one big page with 3 paragraphs of 400 words with headings and images?
