Today I checked my website on webmaster tools and saw 6% CTR for the main keyword (keyword is in the domain, title and also in the meta description) so I was wondering.

Then I googled my website by myself and found that there is ONLY the website title as meta-title. It doesn't look legit and at all and I wouldn't even click on it by myself. I thought I forgot something or made a mistake when I wrote the title and tagline on wordpress, but there was no mistake.

When I made the website I downloaded the plugin "SEO by yoast", but this time I didn't fill out the title, meta-decription, focus keyword etc. on the bottom, because normally I don't need Onpage-SEO plugins to help me anymore.

You think I could solve the problem when I simply write the whole meta-description and title in the SEO by Yoast plugin on the homepage?

Normally, when I install wordpress and write any title & tagline the website use it for google, but this time it didnt. Anyone had the same problem before?

The website title should page Page name | Website name as WP formats them. Did you change any details in the settings to reflect this change?

No, by myself I didn't change it at all.
Maybe the SEO by yoast plugin changed it.
