Literacy test

Title states it, I think there should be a literacy test to join these boards. I think it would greatly increase the content that's available on this site. No offense to anybody..

BHW is an international forum and we welcome members from all over the world, many of whom don't have English as their first (or even second) language. I don't see how a literacy test would make BHW any better - there are plenty of very clever members here who don't speak great English.

It really is a sad day when people start to think that being able to speak english is a sign of intelligence
