Thanks I've been manually making Web 2.0s as a Tier 1 and I was looking for some good blogs. This will be great :)

many thanks for sharing this list. I am using these web 2.0 sites with high PR (7-9) at Tier 1 and I get a high result for ranking. I will start with others.

Don't mean to hijack your thread OP, but I have a question on the topic:

To my understanding, just because you open a blog at say WP for example, that doesn't mean your blog will also get a PR of 9.
So what would be the point?

Your subdomain URL will start off with a PR of 0.

Is it because it appears to be more "legit" of a place and it's easier to build PR on tier1 links because it's placed on a high PR platform?

    Thanks..

the idea of using higher pr sites for your blogs is to pass on their pr to your money site over time through link juice.

It won't mean your site will be an instant pr 9 however it shows that you are getting links from sites with great authority and therefore more important in the search engines (in theory). The above list would be best uded to create pumper sites as a tier one.

Once these get indexed they will pass on a bit of juice. To increase this keep buildin a tier 2/3/4 and keep improving your tier 1 ... this way over time you will gain authority from the pr coming into your site.

    hope this helps

    Home Page:
The biggest plus comes if your blog is updated and shows up as featured even if only for a few minutes on wordpress.com. It is a PR 9, but there are a lot of PR4-6s for categories of blogs for example. If your site shows up there, you are getting a good PR 5 pointing to your blog, which in turn points to your money site. You can see how this can give you a nice boost in the SERPs without looking like you are buying blogrolls (which I wouldn't recommend you do).

That was a really good question, and I do not believe it has been answered yet. I don't "know", but I'm going to take a guess, which is that a PR0 secondary page can get backlinked faster and easier than if it were a secondary page on a (for example) PR3 website.

But that is just a guess.

Yes correct, It's a writing convention where in we always mention the PR of the homepage to signify the importance/authority of the site.
