Does anyone have a list of SEO software that will work natively on Linux?

Just as good I suppose, is software that works well under Wine on Linux.

Not sure whether it would be particularly useful to include any Adobe Air based projects, since Adobe has now stopped support for Air on Linux. *sigh*

I think it would be useful to compile a list, particularly for those of us who do not use Windows except through a VM (which is less than ideal in many cases).

I suppose I should start this off.

    SEO Powersuite
    -- works natively in Linux.

    TweetAdder 3
-- I could never get the Linux version of this to work.

I will pull out any suggestions you supply, and add them to the list above, so we can have some sort of comprehensive database.

ps. Feel free to include any software that you have tried and failed ... either the native Linux version or under Wine. I think a list of what definitely does *not* work under Linux is pretty useful too, since it might save someone wasted effort trying. It might also be useful to give the version numbers.

IMO people are just trying to USE the right tools, the right way instead of trying technological masturbation on putting it on linux...

I hear you on the technological masturbation.

That said, plenty of us do use Linux as our primary OS. For many different reasons.

I am certainly not advocating spending days trying to get shit to work just for the lulz. Just thought it would be useful to have a definitive list.

As it stands, and this is slightly ironic, I am more likely to pay for native *nix software than windows apps, since I can use them all the time, whereas the Win stuff has the additional overhead of a VM or VPS.

    YMMV of course.
