    INTRODUCTION:

On another thread entitled: We need brand new noobs now!!!!!! started by forum member holidaymaine, I was just about to agree but with added conditions, when I realised the thread has nothing to do with BHW and so I have started a new one.

With respect to Diamond Dave, all Admin and Mods, who already have rules in place and who always seem to listen and act swiftly, here is my $0.2 and I encourage everyone here to join in with their own suggestions.

List of requirements to be a Noob here:
    1. Be articulate and possess a vocabulary adequate enough not to need curse-words to complete a sentence.
    2. Be original and giving. Don't use your first post to request the keys to the safe where we keep CS info' and all the valuable downloads that exist on the Internet that, through blood, sweat and tears, have been brought into one place for your convenience. (Especially don't upset WizGizmo, Genjutsu and Uptownbulker...experts in their respective fields. My personal apologies go to the many others I have missed out through the necessity of brevity).
    3. Be Polite - Always, absolutely and totally. It's not clever to act like an ass. Everyone here has grown out of that following puberty.
    4. Be humble if you are here to learn - Arrogance is only accepted if you are an expert in your subject and can teach us all a thing or two. We'll listen, but be warned, if you're full of sh*t, we will know long before you've finished your sales pitch. (I know Sweet FA about CS but from what I have seen, I have forgotten more about graphic and website design than anyone here so far will ever learn).
    5. Have a sense of humour, (Sometimes people post things deliberately to antagonise. Rise above it and be professional).
    6. Obey Admin and Mods. No point in arguing, they will simply ban your ass.
    7. We don't have enough females here. Always give special consideration to the ladies. This is not the locker room.
    8. PLEASE use the search facility BEFORE requesting anything. It's probably already here anyway so it will save you time...duh!
    9. Don't try to scam BHW. You will be found out in a heartbeat. This forum, above all others, is FULL of sh*t-hot experts who will fry your ass so much you will be in therapy for years.
    10. You are a guest here. You have no rights. Act accordingly. If you are spying, do your worst. We are always one step ahead so have no need to catch up.

O.K. I'm struggling now - who has more?

how about a catch all of:
'Don't just ask for it ..... earn it' - and means things like earn by reading, experimenting, having a go, and then asking those who are better if they will give you a hand.

    oh, and maybe one other:
Have at least some money to play with and try things with - no one can turn $20 into $20k in a week - you need some stake money people, just like any good poker game

Ok, but you must remember you were once a newbie.
I personally find this forum very informative and have already learned so much and I am very gratefull for this.
I always use the search option and I do not come here just to leach everything I can.
Please remember when a newbie asks a stupid question it may not be stupid to them. When I first came on here I had never heard of cookie stuffing or many of the other bh methods. So it is all new.

    Don't ask for "thanks".

Don't ask for it in within your post or sig.

If you deserve it, you will get it.
