Building a list is essential to getting repeat business. For too long I was just linking people to CPA redirects, etc, and I put off collecting a list of clients for far to long. So I applied some tools found here and got started.

    The tools used:

    1. The BHW wordpress landing page. Works very well for a simple one page site.
    2. Interspire email marketer. It's a great program, I'll probably shell out some money for it eventually.
    3. I read CPA strike. offers up an interesting method which helps to get people to sign up.

All the tools were found in the Downloads section.

I bought a domain and threw together a page. Figured I'd ask you guys to take a look at it and offer up any suggestions to improve it.

    The link is:

    Code:
    http://amazingnewsecret.com
    Please don't sign up.
    1. I'm not trying to sell you guys.
    2. I guarantee you won't lean anything from it.

I repeat, don't sign up. Just offer up some tips if you have them. And if you haven't done so yet, check out those tools I mentioned and get started on building a list yourselves.

    Thanks guys.

Edit: Oh yeah, I'm not a Photoshop Wiz so the header SUCKS, I know. I'd be willing to pay someone if they are serious about making me a great one. And by serious, I mean someone that wants to do it ASAP, not 2 weeks from now, or who says they are and then never does.

Looks like a pretty decent page mate

Maybe put the "I'm looking for..." a little bit higher and in bold, bigger, different print tho.

Other than that good job. Wordpress?

Yes, Wordpress. There is a bit too much white space between the header and that. It seems to be in the theme itself. I'll work with it and see if I can reduce that.

You are right about the header.

I think you need to add some urgency to your offer. Add something like 12, 11, 10 slots left. Add a sitemap and privacy policy page. Add a few testimonials too.

Secure your folders. Personally, I would make it a bit wider also. It seems a little narrow to me.

    Overall, a good looking site.

Working on that now, I'll have it changed shortly.

    When you say
    What do you mean?

Edit: Added a bit of 'urgency'. I played with the width but if the offer is wider, the paragraphs become too stretched out and it makes the page look extremely empty. (it is) Thanks for the idea of a privacy policy page. I'm working on that now.

Type yoursitename.com/wp-contents/plugins or /themes and you will see what I mean by 'secure your folders'. Most people don't secure them but I do. Maybe I am a bit paranoid, but I don't want people wandering around my site looking at my plugins and stuff. Sometimes plugins can be hacked and you are just advertising exactly which ones you are using.

Glad I could help you out.

BTW, I like the 'nope' page.
