i just bought a fiverr gig that made me a 12 site linkwheel. I supplied an article i had written.

the person put the same article with the same three keywords linked on each site. is that bad? should it be a unique article on each site? if so, does it matter what the article even says or do the links the only thing that matters?
also should the links all be the same with the keyword i want to rank for?

Is it a wheel or just a tier of your pyramid?

If it's a wheel, it doesn't sound good, especially if the article is the same. They could have at least spun it.

    That won't work.

All of the web 2.0 and directories are getting more and more extreme with their filtering linkjuice and grading articles less and less if they aren't unique content for their particular site.

I'm not much for spinning but, at least do that much, if you aren't able to produce unique articles for the posts.

Keep in mind that there are so many subniche and sub keyword angles to go, someone writing articles for you sounds like a much better and more practical investment for you from fiverr.

    Best of luck recovering.

tell me if i am wrong here.

all you are really looking for is to pass the juice between sites. you dont want the web 2.0 site to rank for your keyword.

so, am i supposed to just write up any article and post it to one of the web 2.0 sites, with a link pointing to my site (using my keyword anchor text to rank for), and another link pointing to another web 2.0 site in the wheel (keyword anchor does not matter at all)

is that how I should structure the anchor link text? then, in theory the article can be about anything relate to my niche.

for example, first web 2.0 aritlce is about buying bread. anchor text to my site is "purchase bread" - anchor text to next web 2.0 article is "making bread."

next web 2.0 aritcle is about making bread. anchor text to my site is "purchase bread" - anchor tex to next web 2.0 site is "different types of bread."

and so on. Is this how it should be done with anchor text?

My suggestion would be to ask the person to delete all the web 2.0s ASAP, or better yet, do it yourself.

If you're using the same articles to get links to your site, you're leaving a footprint as big as the biggest crater on moon.

If I were you, I would ask that guy to write 12 unique articles (or at least spin to reach 85-90% uniqueness) then create a linkwheel myself :)

well, i already have the sites in place an i can log in to change things. so what about answering my question on how to do the anchor links?

do i use the same keyword on each site linking ot my money site and a random anchor text keyword going to the other 2.0 sites?
