Links indexed in google

    I hear all these people talking about links indexed in google,

    But what does this mean exactly.

    Does indexed mean when you use the command

    link:mydomain.coom

    and see the links - is that what indexed means

    or is it just the fact that google found them. However with the second way the only way to know is use google webmaster tools.


    OR is there some other meaning to links index in google

    its the fact when google found your backlinks (and afterwards indexed them).

    you can check this with the command site:backlinkurl.com in google. If you find somthing it is indexed if not it isn't

    Use Majestic SEO - It tells you how much indexed Backlinks you have.

    Simply getting them crawled also carries some value. You should check out Lindexed and linklicious for that.
