Can you guys here get good traffic to your websites from putting links into Youtube comments that are relevant to your niches? I was wondering if the Youtube comments were actually moderated and your account can be banned if post wrong links there? As I am seeing then it seems like they are not and you can post your links into the comments under videos.

If you post actual relevant/useful links that make sense in the context of the channel, then yes, you can get relevant traffic.

YouTube comments are moderated, so if you post random garbage or leave huge footprints with an automated bot, then yes, you might get your account banned.

Youtube comments get dropped to bottom bad and invisible, ive read about their algo and its like hiding half comments somewhere or something, anyway,if you dont get mass likes, nobody will see,and even if youtube see prolly will be removed.

I doubt they do something useful for seo purposes. They might drive traffic though

Awesome! You just give me an idea for a new project, sorry if this is old to you but as a newbie like me it really helps a lot reading comments.

You can only add 1 comment with an url (preferably to a docs.google.com page or any other google properties such as a google plus post). The 2'nd comment (on a different video) will only be seen by yourself. So to answer your question, yt comments still work assuming you have enough accounts.

To be honest, Youtube links used to bring a lot of weight when it comes to SEO. Of course, Youtube is heavily moderated by its users, and anyone can report you posting links, spam, etc. But previously, I do get to post a link or two on the comment section on Youtube, and it does bump my site authority a little at the end of the day, but I don't think it's working now.

I did this a while back and a good Youtube comment goes a long way. I don't think it helps very much when it comes to SEO, but I got really good clickkthrough traffic from it, especially if the comment gets bumped to the top of the comment section.

Just remember that Youtube creators have the ability to set how they want the comments prioritized: most popular, newest, etc, so it's not always about likes or replies to your comments.
