OK so I have a niche blog. It had trouble getting indexed, so I ordered 125+ manual bookmark blast to it, like 5 days after it was first published. I haven't even received the report on that yet.

So I checked today. Great news, initially. It had entered the rankings at #11. I also saw that Google had indexed 3 pages. The homepage, and 2 reviews. Awesome!

But now I check back like, an hour later. Google has deindexed my homepage AND one review! It has completely disappeared. I am CONFUSED. One review remains and it ranks #27 or so without any SEO help besides on-site optimization.

I have no idea what I did to get sandboxed. Within one hour. WTF. Also, why did Google choose to keep a single review? WTF. All I did was the bookmarking. I've done that to other sites and its been perfectly fine.

EDIT: Well its back AGAIN. Confused. Why did it go down? Any ideas?

Is it deindexed (search "www.site.com") or just disappeared from rankings?

New sites will typically fluctuate a LOT. Often when you do your first real link blasting they will rise to the top for a short time and then fall completely away only to come back stronger and stay there.

Just keep plugging away links is my advice :) As long as you aren't actually deindexed from Google (quite rare) you'll probably bounce back better than ever eventually.

Just wait for a few more days and you should be back. It usually happens to a new site.
