Are links from 5-10 pr2 domain of any random niche any relevant for some site?
Found a person selling 5 blogroll links from pr2 expired domains, so are they worth it? He is offering them cheap. Links are permanent and do-follow, so will they help my site with SERPS?
Also these domains have PA /DA both around 15-20, a couple of years old and only 10 - 12 backlinks pointing to them.
Thanks for your advice in advance!

I would say that they are probably not worth it. Here are some things I'd be asking if I were in your position:

    1. how many other blogroll links will he be selling?
    2. will each blogroll be identical in terms of who is being linked to and isn't this a huge footprint that makes it easy to spot and penalise?
    3. what is the quality of the other blogroll links?
    4. what is the niche of the other blogroll links?
    5. is the toolbar PR accurate given how out of date it is and what you see in the backlink checkers?
    6. when the seller says permanent, does he mean it or are the sites likely to disappear completely in 12 - 18 months time?

And here are the like answers to these questions:

    1. too many
    2. yes they will be identical or almost identical
    3. the quality of the other blogroll links will be poor
    4. the niches will all be different to one another
    5. the toolbar PR will not represent the true value of those domains any more
    6. the seller is out to make a quick buck and the sites will disappear once he has sold all of the links he can, and the domain then expires

So do yourself a favour and avoid these links if you want to build a long term income stream from your website.

blogroll links are not that effective as it used to be back then! and since they are not niche related I would stay away from them.

it honestly depends on the quality of the site, make sure the site has trust flow of over 20 and domain authority above 25 and also make sure, the obl(outbound links) of the page are not over 10, from there ,you can test and see if the link will help you in serps or not.

When the seller says the links are permanent, it just means the links are permanent as long as the site is live and indexed. It's like selling a life time license of a software, people often think lifetime means their life time, while it's the life time of the software instead.

Depends on the price. That's what would determine if they are worth it or not. I personally wouldn't purchase them if they were expensive since they are not really authoritative. A PA of 15-20 is middling.

Thank you guys for your response.
The person said that there will be around 20links in the blog roll and all of random niche.
I believe I should stay away then.
Just one more thing, assuming that the same domains with the same situation but if it's blog post's - like one well written article by me and do-follw link.
    Then is it worth it?
As in for the domains, all of them are around 10-15 both PA/DA.
I don't know what he meant by permanent but I believe the site will be at least for 2 years.
I got to see one domain, which was previously a Web designing service before expiring, it didn't look spammy to me at all.
Now it had 4 pages with 600-700 pages of unique content and a blogroll with around 20 links to random niche sites.

A few PR2 links that arent related to your niche are fine, I think its more the type of link you should be looking at.
And Blogroll links arent great links - because by their nature they are on a page with a load of other unrelated links!

    Exactly!
The only reason I am interested in this because they are cheap.
Do you guys recommend any market place services you have tried?

How many do you mean when you say 'loads'?
The service has 20 links on the blogroll page with around 200 words of content.

Sure it is depend on price, link is link, you will not heart your site with 10-15 pr2 links from irelevant niche, if site quality is ok, you will probably gain some seo power and it can increase your site position for targeted keywords, but better to buy 1 link from quality domain. Personally I belive that it is quite hard to deindex domain with any kind of links, untill you go really crazy and your domain and site are quite new.
