hello everyone, i was wondering if there is a difference in the value of a link of it comes from a .info as opposed to a .com/.edu etc.

ex. if two sites were exactly the same but one was .info and other was .com and you had a link from it would there be a difference in terms of seo value?

    thanks

all things being the same, i.e. PR, should make no difference

No, what really matter is the PR and backlinks that the site has.

PR and the links going to that .info is what matters.

Pretty much what Dan and the others have said. .info's can be quality sites but they need work done to them just like any other site.
