My money site is in English. However, I have some unique content which is written in some different other languages. Is it worth working on some web 2.0's, posting this content and making links to my money site, since the languages, in which this content is written, are different? The main keywords are the same in all languages, but the longtail ones could differ a bit.

I mention that my money site has received in the past some links from different websites with content in other languages than English. It seemed that these links didn't do anything bad to my website, but I don't know how powerful they could be.

Also, I don't target a specific local market. My site has a more 'global audience' and I am thinking that these links, from content in other languages than English, could determine Google to see it like an authority on a worldwide level and rank it better in other local searches, too. Could this be possible?

What's your opinion on this subject?
    Thanks

It all depends whether that specific language is understood by the search engine or not. Google support more than hundred different language and you can easily check the list by visiting the Google site. If your content language is supported by the Google then surely you will get benefits from the back linking. According to some SEO Orange County companies it is very much possible that content language that is supported by Google can achieve high rank all across the globe....

I am quite sure that these languages are supported by Google because I am seeing in my stats some visitors which have landed on my site after doing some searches on Google in their native languages (which are the same with the ones I have this content written).
