Linking to an Embedded Video Page - Copyright?

    I have pages that contain an embedded video, I would like to have a page of thumbnail images that individually links to one of these pages.

    Could i take a screenshot of part of the embedded video and use that? or is that now breaking copyright?

    If you have any better ideas for how i can do this, I'd be very excited hear them, thank you

    No, you can do that. It is just like you taking photo of TV/Movie or whatever. Nothing wrong with that.

    But to playsafe, put DMCA notice on your website as well. So people can complaint if they found that are copyright materials.
