Hey, I am having hard time understanding how google values nofollow and ******** links and I hope someone can help me here.
So, I am building hubs in order to gain value to certain domain.
Now, I would like to know how google sees this. If my hub has 100 links, of which 99 are nofollow and 1 is ********. How much value does google give to that one link?
Does that one link now get all the juice? Does google see it the same way as the hub only had one outgoing link?
Hope you guys understand and can help me out.

No sure what you're asking.

The value of a link depends on the value of the url it's on. nofollow links do count and I really don't worry about if a link is nofollow or ******** these days.

As far as I know, it's a giant google lie. PR doesn't get you ranked, links do. And you shouldn't care about PR unless you're flipping domains to n00bs.

Hope that helps somewhat.

Birdjuice is right, PR is more of a PR thing, what will rank you in the SERPs is the amount of links, now going back to your question nofollow links are worthless for PR but all links are good for traffic

PR is good for selling one way links to people who don't know any better for a monthly fee. ;)

As an addition to your question, nofollow is completely ignored by Yahoo and generally ignored by MSN. I would find it VERY hard to believe that the google algorithm doesn't take your Y/MSN rankings into account somewhere along the way, so it probably washes out in the end. Follow no follow, all the same unless your links are coming from well established domains. The target site, the speed at which you build the links, the correlation between fresh content arriving on the target site and new links coming in, the relevence of the link text etc all probably carry as much weight as the follow tags.

And by the way, no follow doesn't actually mean nofollow all the time, it just means don't index what you see there just because of the existence of the link. Within the same domain anyway.

Ok, I'm babbling now. I'm going away.
