Ok, first real post here. In short: good programmer, bad black hatter...No experience.
Got lucky by being amongst the first in a certain niche back in 1999 and
still make a decent money off that domain/site.
But I want more....So...
Created some 100 sites maybe a year ago. A few of them are doing ok,but (of course) not good enough so I decided
7 of sept to start a linkspamming campaign - first time ever...
Small scale, 3 sites, total 1000 verified links a day, i.e around 330 links per site/day. Really low comp niches, i.e not much money as well...
The sites had at this point started to die, i.e loose indexed pages in G.
Result:

The overall goal is to gain inlinks so I get more organic traffic (not going for direct traffic from the link target), so (to stay a little safer as well) I place my links in old/forgotten posts so to speak. Which I then "cheap linkspam = gb,rss whenever possible etc,ping" to have them reindexed.
So it's small scale, I mean with these small numbers of visitors I can't measure the actual income, I can very well be lucky to get one sale from the 37 visitors day 1 and none from the 125. So traffic is all I present as well as
Number of Yahoo inlinks (these number are a few days old) has gone from
30+ -> 1099
218 -> 2628
178 -> 1423
So traffic gain proves that it does work. But it's not giving the effect I was hoping for. I was kind of hoping (knowing that the links they had from the beginning were pretty much low value) that taking the step to linkspamming would give me some "real" links and really boost the sites. Cause I do target the link targets so to speak, ehrmm I mean I place links to my "foo" site from other "foo" related sites.
And varies anchor text, linking to internalpages etc...
So is this "normal". Am I missing something obvious.?
