I have 2 sites that Im building link pyramids on and havnt seen any sort of results yet, so I just want to make sure Im doing it right. What Im doing is creating backlinks to my money site using article directories, then finding the top 15 sites with the highest PR and then using scrapebox to blast those articles.

So far its been about a month and nothing at all has happened. The one site has about 5K backlinks to the articles, and the other has about 3K backlinks. These are fairly low competition keywords and the backlinks I already have should be more than enough to get them on the top spot. I figured blasting those backlinks and creating a pyramid would be more than enough to get to #1 but its not.

Any suggesttions on what to do?

You fail, and you will fail again and again and again and again, but if you don't give up, you will one day succeed.

It's really hard to know exactly without thoroughly looking through what you've done.

If I were you I would create web 2.0 sites pointing to the articles and blast those also. I would also create more tier 1 and tier 2 sites to see if that helped.

well yeah if you ask me, it takes at least 2-3 months to be stable on the #1 position.

Scrapebox is a great tool, but it can be quite a bitch sometimes honestly :).

Example: You do a blast and none of your comments stick, that leaves you with half of the articles even indexed and no extra link juice flowing.

Do some test blasting, get comments that stick and each few days check from the previous days to see what has stuck and what hasn't.

I've had the same problem myself back in the day, just before I figured out how better niche related comments are (not talking about auto approves).

I ad an extra layer before the comment blasts and do alright. So it would be like the page or site you want to rank, then the web 2.0 and major article directories, then sometimes use link farm evolution to build up under that and then use article marketing robot to add quite a few links to the bottom of those and then I blast the LFE blogs and articles.
