Link pushing VS Link Magnet ?

Hi !

I 'm newbie in the Internet marketing and want to start to create backlinks for my websites.

I'm struggling a lot with the differents system to build backlink.

I have found many differents methods .

After searching and searching again finally i have found 2 really interesting methods :

Link Pushing and Link Magnet (Sean Donahoe)

I would love to know which one of the 2 is the best method to start with...
