This is my link piramid setup:

Tier1 links consist of : web20 posts, 400 sponsored reviews, forum posts / profiles. Tier 1 links have around 20 diferent anchor texts like widgets, blue widgets, red widgets online, etc. All links in this tier have been indexed by G and are around 6-12 months old.

Tier2 is: Xrumer blasts to Tier1. Each xrumer post has 6 - 10 links pointing to tier1 with also 20-30 anchor texts.

So far i've build around 50 000 posts on tier2 and all i can see is DROP in the serps. Massive drop -100, the site had been sitting high in the serps for months.

Any idea why it looks like my link piramid failed ?

You must have spun same articles and used them in tier 1...
Xrumer blast on tier 1 must have passed the penalty to tier 1 sites. So, you didnt get any to your money site.

The spun content is fine, I've tested that extensively, but you really want a layer of articles, web 2.0s etc between the xrumer blast and the tier one articles if you are going to hit it with 50K right off the bat.

i have also noticed blasting tier 1 web 2.0 properties with huge xr blast is not a good idea..try to refrain from that..

You gotta remember that an unnatural link surge to a website will be flagged... Google's link building metric is based on the idea that people are surfing from page to page with a random hop in domains.

If you are building out of the blue 50,000 links, this does not fit into the natural algorithmic logic, and you will be flagged.

    Just my 2 cents.
