Welcome!
I've got something nasty on my mind. Let's discuss it here.
Each time we get a link from the same source (domain and IP) then each one is worth less than the previous one. We don't know it's exact mechanism but we can be sure that 100 links from the same source won't have the power of single link from that source multiplied by 100.
So in case of web 2.0 blogs that are not using subdomains - but folders - links that are pointing to them means almost nothing because this process was repeated hundred times by other blog users of that service.
Same applies to profiles that use folders instead of subdomains, forums, generally anything that doesn't give us a subdomain has a CONNECTED backlink profile with other users and therefore they pointed links from popular sources hundred times already on their pages.
Conclusion about multiple links from same IP:
- they are bad at transferring link juice because links we pump at em are worth less than they would be worth to exclusive domain/subdomain
Great example of that is when:
1. Thousand people use premium set of backlinks from RankerX, and then they all blast it with gsa paid lists (not to mention they are shit but people are using them anyway).
2. all of them will use paid gsa lists.
3. 50% out of lists users will go for SER Verified lists. (so they are using the same list)
Conclusion? RankerX made u hundred links (lets say profiles)
exactly like http://premiumdomain.com/users/mike3213
Whole domain has connected link profile so these links u point from gsa are worth almost nothing because other people pointed the same links to that domain and indexed them already.
That was just an example. I have a bulk source of link juice and my question for you is:
If its better to use quality site as tier 2 instead of tier 1 because of how many links we have from that IP already pointing to moneysite?
Because I am sure theory I explained here works somehow. But I do not know to what extent
