Backlinks lose value with increasinging number of outgoing links. But I think internal links also must be considered. Is this assumption correct?

100 internal links, 5 outgoing links
10 internal links, 5 outgoing links -> More link juice inheritance

As long as your outgoing links are related, you should be fine.

Actually, having a few outgoing links to authority related sites is good for the site.

Internally, a page may have links to the homepage, category pages etc, but other pages on the site will link back so it pretty much evens out.

You should concentrate mainly on outgoing links.

I've seen sites getting more of a jump by simply improving their internal linking than getting new links, as a big example I give you Wikipedia, their strong interlinking is what makes new pages be able to outrank almost anything.

It is also part of the TrustRank algorithm that you must link out to relevant sources. If you are lucky enough to find a niches 'seed' pages and link TO them, you will be in tip top shape.

Also the fact that you are able to funnel your linkjuice to your money pages. Focus on your internal and outbound linking, you have complete power over it
