Link dispersion across a domain?

Is it common for a domain to have a few pages with 100's of links and many other pages with 0 links?

I've been wondering if I should build some foundational links to put a few links on all of my posts, but I am not sure if I should. I don't mean totally crap links. I would pay someone to spin me some of my unused articles with Word AI and/or do whatever else was needed to make the submission have enough value to stick.

Should I pursue some article, web 2.0, bookmarks, wiki, etc. (whatever is in Ultimate Demon) and building some links around to all pages?

Not all pages of a site will have backlinks so it is perfectly normal for some pages of a site to have backlinks and for others to not have any links. By the way, ultimate demon links are low quality links just like any other automated tool and shouldn't be built directly to your site.
