I got a very good expired domain [Education] from Godaddy Auction. I want to start it as a money site but before I go for it.
I need some advices from you guys. Is it wise to create backlinks for a expired domain whenever we add new content on it ?
I read somewhere that creating backlinks for a expired domain is not the best ways to nurture the project.

After uploading contents ,monitor few days, if it gets impression, and then build backlinks

you can build links whenever you want, but start slowly and make sure the content you're building links to is indexed, just to be safe...

Also, I'm not sure how much you fancy the idea (or if it even fits into your new project) but if the domain had pages with good backlinks pointing to them before expiring I would recreate those pages, just so you won't lose the backlinks

Yes, you can add the backlinks to the content. Focus on high quality links like guest posts, niche edits, niche PBNs etc. and drip feed them.

Be sure to restore the content which has good backlinks (as tazarbm suggested), also publish your new content, and then start building backlinks as if you would. I don't think there's any specific method of building links to an expired domain. Unless it's really strong, you can start with the backlinks more aggressively compared to a new website.

Yes, you should be doing this first. That way you can ensure that it indeed remains valuable in the ling run, otherwise if you lose the backlinks then there is no point in using the domain (the age factor might help).

Yes, you can have these content links. In addition, focus on quality links like guest posts, niche edits or PBNs.

You can build backlinks to an expired domain. But wait before you get impressions from search. Then start slowly.

If the domain already has a good link profile, you could just recover it
Just make sure the pages appear in the index
