So this morning I got an email saying Link Aloha is live and as I'm always interested in new backlinking tools I decided to check it out. Basically it's a quick and easy way to build forum profiles. It seems like a great software until you look at the price. Their highest membership is 5000 backlinks a month and the cost is $394/MONTH! That's INSANE! For $394 I could buy over 190k xrumer created profiles each month and even if only 10% stuck I'd still have 19k backlinks - almost 4x as many as Link Aloha generates.

Am I missing something somewhere that makes this worth that kind of money?

I don't think your missing anything - the price is just way too high - but if their copy is good they will get some takers for the first month or so. I would imagine the membership sign-ups and retention declines mightily after the initial pr. So charge a high price and get your $$.

I think you're absolutely right. It's just overpriced and probably marketed to those who don't know much about seo and backlinks.

It's just marketing to see how far they can go.

It's pretty sad to all the bitching.

The pricing plans are actually quite reasonable for the quality.

It's only $46/month for 250 links per month; not to mention you get 50% off all plans if you register with them for free.

That's $23 for 250 quality links. You can do a lot of damage with that, and if you can't, you shouldn't consider getting a plan because you will most likely just waste your money.

Even the $394/mo 5000 link plan is actually a good price. That's only $12 and change per link plus all the software features you get with it.

but you can rent links for 12$ / month - solid, reliable links from pages that are already indexes and not just crappy forum posts...

These are just forum links. They're not THAT quality. They're the exact same links you get in a $20/10k xrumer profile blast except 10x as expensive.

That's what outsourcers are for. I'll never own xrumer because I don't want to have to deal with it. But I'll buy blasts from someone else who does and I'll be perfectly happy paying a bit extra over the long run.

Spelling police? Really? Probably half the people on this forum don't speak English as a first language so if people not knowing the difference between your and you're is going to bug you you're going to hate it here. And if you run around correcting people, you'll become unpopular quick. Not a good first impression newbie.

I agree they are expensive, but if you have clients and you include "web forum backlinks" in your package you offer them and you have it equal to be about 20 bucks for 60 backlinks per month with it auto posting 2 per day per client it works out well...the 100 bucks for 1000 per month is paid for after 300 backlinks and the other 700 are mine to play with however i want. This is awesome for me when I can just take 5 minutes to add a campaign and i know I got a good drip of profile backlinks each day for all my clients.

You must have missed the part about 250 spots available.

Those type of programs are ridiculous, and they're preying on innocent newbies, that don't realize they can buy xrumer blasts, scrapebox to find their own, or heck for 2 months membership in that place you can just buy xrumer. WTF.
