    Hi

I have an issue with Refunding, On December 2012 my pp account got limited permanently then i was unable to refund the 42 USD remaining balance to my friend manually so i contacted the pp customer service and finally " Paypal Balance Adjustment " took the 42 USD in order to refund to my friend but problem is from now on in which since December 12 my friend saying that he didn't receive the money yet. I was wondering is it necessary that my friend to issue a dispute against me to get the money or when Paypal do it my friend should get the money automatically? Since my friend is afraid that if he dispute it will make problem for him and therefore he didn't do it up to date, after how many days this unclaimed refunded money will back to my account in order to be withdrawn after 180 days?

It would be appreciated if someone help me.

If my friend doesn't do anything about it which is not making dispute , will the refunded money which i requested it to be refunded by Paypal back to my account or not? if yes how many days it will take? and also is there any chance that my friend has received it or will?

A dispute will not cause your friend issues. Paypal almost always sides with the customer, and if you didn't deliver, he's entitled to a refund.

Paypal are dicks, but if they said they sent the money to your friend then they did. It is way more likely that your friend just snagged your $40 than paypal saying they sent it and didn't. - Your friend is rich now. Image all of the amazing things he can do with your $40 now!

Nope, unless you have a boat load of money in there and that the person can get within 180 days and you sell it at a good price, lower then the amount you have in there, maybe someone will be interested. Paypal limited accounts are as useful as a condom at a 99 cent store.

    Hi

Following my first post in this topic , I sent an e-mail to paypal a few days ago and paypal said to me that they did sent money at the time of my request in December 2012 to my friend and even gave me receiver's transaction id to give to him. After that my friend himself made a contact with paypal about this money, paypal said to him that they credited the money to his account in December but as he searches his account he doesn't have any entry on his history page from me or ' paypal balance adjustment ', where did the money go? Is it possible that the money credited to his account without registration of an entry on his account statement?

Well if PayPal repeatedly mentioned that they refunded the money to your friend, then they did. $40 is not big money for them to keep going back and forth, so either your friend is lying or there was actually some issue/glitch on PayPal's side. I have never heard of a such issue since starting to use PayPal.
