    Hello

A lot of people says if you share a URL on Facebook and got a lot of likes and shares Google consider that and help in SERP, but in my opinion that's can't be at all, as our pages are private and just our friends can see what we share and like, so the spider can't even see these shares and likes.

    So any one agree ?

it's about sharing external urls via the Facebook Like button. i.e. if a user, who's logged in to facebook already, visit a website, and the website has a like button on each internal page - if he shares it, well there are 2 possibilities:
    1. if he shares it to his friends, and the user is logged in under his private account - then, yes Google cannot know about it. All Google can know is that there might be a traffic boost to the shared url from Facebook (Google cannot see the full referrer as Facebook blocks it) assuming the shared site is using Google Analytics
    2. if the user is logged in with his page account, Google can see the shared url as it get posted to his page - which is public

So due to the second possibility, if i pressed share and i logged in under my page account, and then a lot of people liked or shared the URL, do you think it will help in SERP ?

I meant by ( Pages ) our profile pages on Facebook, I think 95 % of the people makes their wall private and visible to the friends only.

definitely! I have a clickjacking platfrom that manipulates the Like button over users. And I see huge rankings change when a url accumulates shares over time. Not only FB likes, but also Google pluses.

you see, though Google cannot see the full FB referrer (Google and everybody else will see the following referrer of Facebook: "facebook.com/l.php") - it still sees that there is traffic boost from Facebook to certain urls even on private FB accounts, so he knows something is going on.

Morover, it is very easy to generate fake traffic from FB, but Google algos probably take into consideration many parameters to find out whether the traffic is of quality and/or legit. I assume some of them is: IP, time on site, bounce rate, IP bundle from the same country origin, browser and OS language etc.

So, if the FB traffic is legit (and not fake, or bot made, or even of shitty Fiverr gig), Google consider it quality thus will probably calculate it for better rankings.
