I've watched it a few days ago and it's a good movie but I think it is slightly overrated. When I first saw the trailer I thought it was too much fantasy but I've heard people boasting about how good the movie was so I decided to watch it. Must say the trailer, although accurate, is somewhat misleading. Nevertheless I think the movie is overrated and gets kind of slow and boring. It keeps you in suspense, but not much really happens.

I liked it more than Django, Silver Linings and Argo, but they were all good. The recent movie I was most disappointing in was Cloud Atlas.

I haven't watched any of these, looking forward to do so soon. Not so sure about Argo though, but we will see.

Yeah, there was too much hype for the film. It's watchable but it's not 'amazing'.

Argo was much better and kept me stuck to my seat.

I was expecting a more epic ending, but it was worth seeing it.

I thought Cloud Atlas was pretty good, not as well paced as Django but still a solid movie in my books.

I've avoided downloading Life of Pi because it just felt wrong, like it was over-hyped and I was going to hate it. Django Unchained was a stinking turd of a movie. It had a few "striking scenes" in typical whatchamacallit brothers style, such as when the guy was sawing open the skull of the previous slave "house boss" (or whatever the word would be), but for the most part the plot was really difficult to believe, and then towards the end it was pure bullshit.

I liked Argo a lot, and so far it's the best movie I've seen this year, and Cloud Atlas is a lost little orphan of a movie, with no parents to teach it where to go or what it's supposed to do, and so it doesn't really go anywhere, do anything or mean anything. A lot of these people that try to popularize Ayn Rand fixate on the most stupid of the culture's components. I don't give a fuck who John Galt is. John Galt can go fuck himself. It's like a retarded version of the Masons with secret handshakes and a gen-u-ine Underdog Secret Decoder ring, with a Super Energy Pill inside. Ayn Rand sells best to people that produce and have talent. There's no need to try to bring the hoards of drooling retards along, they aren't coming and wouldn't like it if they did. They prefer Idiocracy's "OW! My BALLS!" on the Violence Channel.

And, FWIW I just watched "Margin Call" the other day, and that's a solid "B" movie also. Has everything a really good movie needs, except for the "good". A whole lot of people standing around wondering what's going to happen next, being watched by a whole lot of people that really don't give a fuck, they'd just like it to be over. I kept praying Demi Moore would grab a letter opener and stab that Kevin Spacey right in the center of one of his big bug-eyes, but she never did. All she did was fret and wiggle her mouth around some words, like a toothless old hag playing with her dentures. And they drag these two young guys around through the entire movie, like they were dogshit that someone stepped in and never bothered to wipe it off their shoes, so it smelled like dogshit throughout the entire movie, the "rocket scientist" and the "young money guy". Two walking, talking dog turds that were useful for the 1st 10 minutes of the movie and it was like no one had the heart to have a big-ass Brinks truck run them over splattering their brains and other gore all over the New York street.

I haven't watched it in 3D but when it comes to 3D I think the whole thing is over-hyped as well. The best 3D movie I've seen was Avatar, and I haven't seen the 3D version in full, just bits.

I've watched it a few days ago and I think it was a good movie though I must say that I was expecting much more.
