Okay so I have resigned from my day job today. I was holding the third position in my company and my bosses are astonished by my decision, but then, who wants to work for someone else :p

So I am with you guys now. I will work my ass out to become a full time IM / full time freelance Web dev.

Please wish me luck. I guess I will pretty much need it during the upcoming days. Let's hope I can make this happen :S

I 'AM' working in a small web development farm located in Kolkata, India. I said 'AM', because I have given them a notice period of 1 month so that they could search for someone else. :)

So I have two months of salary in hand ( ~$1100) to start something. Not sure what to do next :p

Good decision. Even i want to leave my job.
Work hard and earn five times more than your 2 months salary.
 
That's my primary target! I used to give them more than $5k turn over per month. I want that money now haha :D

I saw you're good at programming and web development, so I'm sure you will succeed. Fact is you can't do both day job and IM. Good luck.

I'm working as a PHP web developer in Hyderabad
I also want to do IM but not getting enough time. I'm working more than 10 hours daily for my company
