Mix and spin, ladies and gentlemen, mix and spin. Here are fourteen tricks and tips that you may or may not have known. I'm not going to lay out how to make money using them, just know that there are endless possible combinations to make it work for you. Ready? Here we go:

    • PayPal: When you send a payment as a gift, there are no PayPal fees deducted form your payment.
    • Amazon: When you sell an item, you get a shipping credit. For smaller items, it covers shipping with several dollars left over for profit.
    • AdSense: Click fraud can be successful if you know how to bend their TOS to fit your needs.
    • BidVertiser: They don't watch anything. Go wild. If you get banned, you can always just start another account.
    • YouTube: Download brand new videos for trending topics. Re-upload and watermark. Flag the original enough and it gets taken down.
    • Facebook: Have an email list? Paste it into the invite friends box and watch your friend count skyrocket.
    • MySpace: Use an autoplay code on a YouTube video and comment on an HTML-enabled popular page, and you'll get a view every time someone visits the page.
    • Google Wave: It's not that amazing yet, trust me.
    • Google Voice: Nothing like a free forwarded number. Get another set of PVA's on any site with an account.
    • Google AdWords: Hold onto a Google Analytics account for a month and you get a $100 AdWords credit. Good for a few thousands hits for any site you want.
    • Mac: Hit Control + option/alt + Command + 8 and see what happens.
    • Tor: Use Tor with iMacros and anything (ANYTHING) is possible with enough careful planning.
    • Ringtones: Make your own with Wavepad and sell them on a website or offer them for free on incentivized links.
    • Forums: Hotlink smiley faces for great instant backlinks to your linked page. EDIT: turns out I read that one here on BHW. Credit goes to Nick Flame for that.

Is there any way to find out how much bidvertiser pays per various clicks? Is there something similar to the google kw tool?

I was skeptical, but this must be the best valued post per word on BHW.

To Leila: From the Bidvertiser FAQ:

All BidVertisers ads that you display on your site are cost-per-click ads. This means that you get paid for every legitimate click on an ad. The amount that you get paid is determined by how much advertisers have bid for your advertising space, while our ad serving system always displays the highest bidders on your site, assuring the maximum revenue possible at any given time. You will see a constant improvement in your bidding over time, as both your visitors and our advertisers will be exposed to the opportunity of bidding against each other on your ad space.

I like that one a lot. Do you just hotlink all your smileys or just a few here and there? Well I guess trying it out is the only way to see what works best. Thanks for the share

If you hotlink every smiley you put anywhere, and you're not careful about how you do it, then you'll be looking at a ban from forums and/or commenting on blogs, whatever the case may be. People catch on, just takes a while from time to time. Look at Nick Flame's thread for more information all about hotlinking smileys.

As with everything, too much of a good thing can go bad but if you use it wisely it can be a helluva tool. Consider actually spending a little time on some of the bigger forums for your niche and then one smiley with a twist every so often will be ignored. You would be surprised how much a little human interaction can achieve.

I got charged $0.15 when sending a gift via Paypal, the other end got the full amount though, I ended up paying $10.15 instead of $10.00 - But today I wasn't charged, there might be a daily/monthly use limit.

Adsense: What if your website traffic is 100% DIRECT? :D With no referring website? I'm talking about video promotions.. People will defenitely type my website address in their browser and visit my site... Will google ban my adsense account?

I'm going to have to go with yes on the ban for that one. There's no such thing as direct traffic through video promotions. Either they type in your web address or they don't after watching your video. And that's more along the worries of a parked landing page. AdSense isn't affected really by type-in vs link promotions through the URL bar.

And thanks for the PayPal gift tip, Alex. I didn't know that.

You mean to say if 100% of my website visitors type my website address and visits, and then if they click some ads, my account will get banned? Please clear this thing for me... Because I'm stopping myself doing this.. :D

I know in video promotions they will type-in my website address and visit or they don't visit at all.. But what if my 100% website traffic is from those kind of people only?
