I'm getting my feet wet in CPA after excessive amounts of reading and thought on the subject. I'm interested in finding a few good people in varying degrees of experience on the subject to talk with/toss ideas with/shoot shit with/etc...

These would be people who are knowledgeable, whether in large or small amounts, about CPA and are willing to discuss some of the details of the business with others. Sometimes in life it's really the "little things" that can make so much of a difference. Since I'm new to the field, some of these little things are sure to escape me. Perhaps I have an idea on driving traffic, and you have a tip that helps tweak the potential or save a few minutes here and there. Perhaps I just finished a new blog and you point out an obvious error I've overlooked.

I'm not sure who out there is interested in this anyway... :D

    What I Want:

Folks interested in CPA and discussing various aspects of the business. Perhaps also bacon, beer.

    What I DO NOT Want:

Someone to give me their methods and ideas. Don't get me wrong here, please! I'm already working on ideas of my own, which maybe we can discuss later, so I'm not looking for people to feed me ideas and tell me what to do. I'm learning these things myself.

I've already joined a few networks, I've already established my LLC, building sites as we speak... I just know that there are snags and roadblocks waiting to happen, and whenever I can get an outside perspective to help smooth things over, the easier it is! And hey, new to the field or not, what comes around goes around, you know? ;)

If this idea in any way happens to ring your bell, send me a pm and hit me up on AIM!

Id very much like to know your conversions with PPC type of traffic especially FB ads. Anyone here using this? Whats your ratio - clicks on ad compared to number of leads? And for what type of offer. Im getting 1:10ish with email marketing and dating CPA offers.

I stopped using paid traffic for CPA. I do SEO and promote CPA.

I basically chickened out spending $500-$1000 just to test and
    optimize a campaign.

The best results I ever got with paid traffic and CPA is when I
was buying banner impressions on self-serve ad networks.

PPC + CPA are kinda tough now. Google banning Adwords accounts
    left and right.

i started last weekend promoting CPA offers and im seeing some $50 days already. sadly also some $5 days but i try to tweak my stuff as much as possible to get better earnings. I dont do any WH stuff, only spam social networks :D

Noobie tip for fellow noobies: stop looking for the magic click-this-button-and-make-money method. try a few things, give it some time, if it earns some money try to scale it up, if not, move on to the next project and dont look back ;)

This is the idea... I'm starting to promote a few offers through vanilla seo and article marketing, and another with a Facebook experiment. It's maybe the "hard" way but I'll be learning a lot and will hopefully end up with a few solid websites creating quality steady whitehat income. Other projects come after learning this.
