    Hello all,

My name is lemming and I'm an alcoholic, gameaholic, workaholic, etc.

No, seriously...I've stopped binge drinking for now.

After getting inspired by journeys from kinlee, foxtrotzero, wyatt, cashcrate, etc, I want to get back up and post my journey as well.

Sorry for the long rant below? but?

I need to pick up my life again after 5+ years of depression and suicidal thoughts. My wife left me after I have paid for her $100k+ education and spent over $18k in our wedding and over $20k in rings and $20k+ in vacations, $5k in legal assistance, $5k in school tutoring, etc?, and many years of other financial support, etc.Back then I had money and had a good source of income, but when things turned bad (foreclosure, bad credit, creditors chasing, etc ) and I went into depression she told me to get up but I couldn't get up since I lost my self esteem. I gained weight and got fat too. After 2 years, she decided to leave me at my darkest moment. I'm still sad and wondering why she left after I loved her a lot and gave her all I have. I still remember she told me to pack all my clothes and told me to get out. /sad

Things were pretty bleak?since I had no money and was struggling, I was sleeping in my car and getting a gym membership to take showers. Eating groceries from Aldi and basically surviving on bread and luncheon meat.

If it wasn't for my belief in higher powers, I would have ended it but I think there maybe more to my life than just this.

Right now I don't have my car but I'm either sleeping in friend's couches, or living in hostels and weekends I spend time with my parents and of course eating with them (although they drive me crazy sometimes). I have some money now ($700) but I'm not sure how long that will last.

For this thread, I'll try to answer as much as possible without giving away my niche. I will keep my earnings/spending and for you newbs like me out there... a time investment to keep track of my commitment levels. Also, any help with my journey would be appreciated, I'm still pretty new to this CPA thing, but I'm sure I can learn. Please be nice to me since I'm still a bit fragile. I need help from all of you to keep me motivated and to cheer me on!

    Thanks and God bless!!!!! :D

You are into IT? Then I suggest you also find some jobs.
A full income from IM is hard to get on early days, and you will need money to invest in your IM and to supplement your own life.
IT still pays good, so I suggest you find a job, and do IM in your night time or in your lunch break.
Or, if you don't want to do any office work, just be a freelancer, that's a good option too.

Good luck mate, hope you can get back on your feet. Stay focused and motivated.

You may also think of some small freelancing services (Odesk, Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.) to do aside, to help you more in your CPA journey.

Damn man. That story's rough as hell. Well, you're better off without her anyway... I have no doubt you'll succeed. Then she'll wish she never left you ;)

Definitely subscribed. Haven't seen many journeys involving media buys lately, they all seem youtube + cpa. Let me know if you need help with anything; I've been getting into media buying lately too.

Thanks man, I hope she wish that too!

I'm shooting in the dark...but from what I hear/read, media buys are scalable that's why I'm choosing that method.
I'll hit you up on some questions.... but right now I don't know enough to ask! LOL! :D

I'm not sure if I want to put my efforts in getting a gig...right now I have a low, low burn rate so I can sit tight for 2 months without feeling too sad. I've adjusted to my lifestyle for now and I just have to be careful with my money.

I may reconsider if I feel more pinched.

Alright, let me know if you do, and good luck!

Ah, so you won't be investing in media buys for a couple months? So I assume you'll be doing research/whatever during that time?

Like you said, be careful with your money, choose an honest cpa network
for 500/month you have to make ~ 17/day
media buying is an expensive traffic source, i think you still knowing how to code, it can bring you some free traffic
once you find a good method, use your money to scale it up

    good luck ! :)

    Good Luck,

As a media buyer myself, let me tell you, $700 initial investment is most likely not going to be enough.

Whatever you do though, please PLEASE. Spend all $700 on one source, don't hop around with niches/verticals/sources, or you're going to die off really quickly. Also I wouldn't recommend Google/FB as your first source with your budget.
