Are these sites that host links to nulled scripts legal? Nevermind the software (probably malicious) itself.

There's chaos out there dude, just throw the shit at the wall and hope it sticks. If you worry about everything you'll never make a cent.

I assume that you're a beginner which just wants to launch a small SEO project. In this case a clean nulled script would be ok.

It's illegal but hard to proof.

It is not legal but they use hosting providers that call themselves warez hosts, which do not suspend them.

I understand how they are being hosted (via mirror and filesharing sites), but is it legal to give out links to these on a site?

Because it's only illegal to run the programs. Like in the old days you could copy VHS but could not play them unless you had the original.

It's not only illegal to run, it is extremely illegal to distribute, or even facilitate distribution.

    Look at Kim Dotcom

Thanks for the response. I see a lot of nulled-esque script and template sites out there. Figured they would be making decent ad revenue? Was an interesting thought to try, but will probably go with something more legit - obviously. Wasn't looking to distribute movies or anything like that, just essentially reposting the links to the scripts that are already out there.

Main thing would have been ad revenue and I'm assuming signups from anyone who went premium with the filesharing service(s).
